I knew early on that playing the guitar would be the focus of my professional career. I studied music as a
major in college while attending Northern Illinois University and California State University Long Beach.
While in the Chicago area, I studied from one of the best guitar players/teacher, Stu Pearse.  After moving 
to  California, I was fortunate to study with Ron Eschete', one of the leading Jazz Guitarists in the world.
His experience and technical skill have both been an enormous asset to my musical education.

I have worked in numerous group situations including trios, small groups and big bands and have wide
experience with solo playing and backup guitarist for all instruments within the Jazz field. While in Long Beach, I
became a member of a group named JiDaDo Jazz Trio. Our live performances included private
parties, exclusive restaurants, social gatherings, weddings and aboard dinner cruise ships. I have also worked
with the following groups and musicians: The nationally acclaimed One Jazz Band at California State University
Long Beach, Jack Sheldon,  Erney Andres, Eddie Danniels, John Patitucci, Dewey Erney, Dorothy Collins,
Cecilia Coleman, Mark Massey, Jeff Kashiwa and Stephany Hanes.
